Entre loucuras: discutindo a transformação do olhar de artistas criadores do espetáculo “Projeto Bispo: tratados como bicho, comportam-se como um”

This work wanted to understand the transformation of the gaze of the creators of the show "Project Bispo: treated as an animal, behave as one", in its trajectory from 2012 to 2015. For that, it was reflected on issues related to the field of Mental Health, especially in what concerns the elaboration of new conceptions about the severe psychic suffering, commonly known as madness. The study dealt with the following themes: the analysis of some authors about the historical-social process that led to the understanding of madness as an experience to be excluded and later as a mental illness; the institutional transformation operated by the psychiatric reform through rereading the experience of the intervention in the Casa de Saúde Anchieta; the problematization of the psychiatric and artistic history of Arthur Bispo do Rosário and the socio-political contextualization of the emergence of psychiatry in Brazil; and the experiments undertaken by the artists during the collaborative process of staging. The method used was qualitative research with participant observation and semistructured interviews with the artists who participated in the collaborative process of the show. It was observed that, in most cases, the questions about own psychological suffering or in the family guided the testimonies of the artists. The interviews demonstrated that they had knowledge about the role of social and moral control performed in psychiatric hospitals and, therefore, it was concluded that the experiments carried out during the collaborative process of "Project Bispo", the articulation established between theoretical research, personal experiences of the artists and the attentive look of the space occupied by them during the field work provided the setting up of a spectacle compatible with questions about madness and internment. It was also observed that, for the elaboration of the costumes and the characterization of the characters, there was an effort of the artists to understand the gesture, the dress and the behavior attributed socially to the madman. In this way, he scenes and improvisations performed during the collective process gave a new look to the artists about what they believed referring to madness.Este trabalho buscou entender a transformação do olhar de atores criadores do espetáculo “Projeto Bispo: tratados como bicho, comportam-se como um”, em sua trajetória de 2012 a 2015. Para tanto, refletiu-se sobre questões relativas ao campo da Saúde Mental, principalmente no que refere-se à elaboração de novas concepções sobre o sofrimento psíquico grave, comumente conhecido como loucura. O estudo tratou dos seguintes temas: as análises de alguns autores sobre o processo histórico-social que propiciou o entendimento da loucura enquanto experiência a ser excluída e posteriormente como doença mental; a transformação institucional operada pela reforma psiquiátrica por meio de releitura da experiência da intervenção na Casa de Saúde Anchieta; a problematização do histórico psiquiátrico e artístico de Arthur Bispo do Rosário e da contextualização sócio-política do surgimento da psiquiatria no Brasil; e os experimentos empreendidos pelos artistas durante o processo colaborativo da encenação. O método utilizado foi a pesquisa qualitativa com observação participante e entrevistas semiestruturadas com os artistas que participaram do processo colaborativo do espetáculo. Observou-se que, na maior parte dos casos, a problematização de questões relativas ao sofrimento psíquico próprio ou na família nortearam os depoimentos dos artistas. Os entrevistados demonstraram ter conhecimento sobre o papel de controle social e moral desempenhado nos hospitais psiquiátricos e, desse modo, concluiu se que as experimentações operadas durante o processo colaborativo de “Projeto Bispo”, a articulação estabelecida entre as pesquisas teóricas, as experiências pessoais dos artistas e o olhar atento do espaço ocupado por eles durante o trabalho de campo proporcionou a montagem de um espetáculo compatível com questões sobre a loucura e o internamento. Constatou-se ainda que, para elaboração dos figurinos e da caracterização dos personagens, houve empenho dos artistas no sentido de compreender o gestual, a vestimenta e o comportamento atribuído socialmente ao louco. Desse modo, as cenas e improvisações realizadas durante o processo coletivo conferiram um novo olhar aos artistas sobre o que acreditavam referir-se à loucura.Dados abertos - Sucupira - Teses e dissertações (2019
